Just set it over your cup, pour in hot water, and easily brew flavorful tea. It is deep enough to fit a generous amount of tea to make it stronger.
It is hand-thrown, with a small handle and a little hook—to hold it securely over a cup’s edge—and a rim that’s left raw. A potter makes the infuser in a Northern Bohemian village.
She uses local clay and fires each piece in her home kiln. Because she handles each infuser individually, there is a unique variation in color from piece to piece.
